Thursday, June 21st, 2007Mr G. Lopez, Managing Director of Hoteles Silken has appointed Mr F. Hill as General Manager of the hotel Silken Berlaymont Brussels**** as of June 1st, 2007
Frédéric Hill is taking over from Mark van Ogtrop who is departing for a new challenge.
Mark van Ogtrop, who is closing his career of almost 7 years at the hotel Silken Berlaymont, saw how the hotel evalutated and grew from Dorint to Dorint Novotel and later on, now already 2 years ago, to Silken Berlaymont Brussels.
He decided to leave Belgium to start a new challenge outside Europe.

Frédéric Hill, who is appointed as Mark van Ogtrops’ successor, is already working several years at the Hotel as the Executive Assistant Manager.
We like to congratulate both, Mark van Ogtrop and Frédéric Hill, with their new challenge.
Evening in Provence
On the 19th of June, 2007, the hotel Silken Berlaymont organized a Petanque contest : “Evening in Provence”, they brought “Marseille” into Brussels. They had a lot of luck, the sun was with them.
